High Quality Recording Studios
Nestled in the sleepy, NSW country town of Wee Waa (Self described cotton capital of Australia that was made famous from the launch of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories album in 2013.) in a stately old house constructed in 1900, is Waa Wolf Studios.
Established in November 2020 after the plague took hold and forced the closure of the owner’s commercial recording space on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the studio is a creative space featuring a 56 channel, Soundcraft Series V analogue mixing console coupled with Solid State Logic (SSL) conversion and Pyramix Digital Recording offering high end digital and analogue sound for recording and mixing projects of all kinds.
The Control Room

Soundcraft Mixing Console
The Soundcraft Series V mixing console is the control centre of the studio. It has 56 inputs, 8 busses, 10 VCA groups and 12 auxillary sends. It is connected to Solid State Logic Delta Link Madi AD/DA converters and and a Pyramix DAW.

Comfort and Vibe
Waa Wolf Studios' Control Room is a dedicated music creation space. You don't need to be secluded into the recording studios to add to your track, you can plug your guitar straight into the wall and do that all important overdub right from the lounge.

Outboard
With a bunch of different outboard effects to choose from, you can add tonnes of flair to your mix. The studio is new and there's not a lot in the rack yet, but there'll be more to come soon.
Unleash The Wolf

Recording Studio Spaces
In addition to the control room, there are two main recording rooms. One, “The Booth” is a room directly behind the control room with a window between the two spaces. This space measures 3 metres x 4 metres and can comfortably fit a small band. This space is currently under construction with completion expected some time in 2023
For larger acts, there is “The Shed”. This space is a whopping 7 metres x 10 metres with a pitched ceiling height of almost 3.5 metres. The Shed is located at the opposite side of the property, a short walk from the control room. The space can easily fit a small orchestra and is perfect for both sound and film production. This space is currently under construction with completion expected in lat 2024.
Both studios are fitted with 24 mic lines and 8 headphone sends.
Whilst the recording rooms are under construction, the control room is open for mixing work and voice overs only.
Whatever your recording project requires, Waa Wolf Studios can give you the space and tools that will bring out your best performance and the best production of your music.

We have been involved with Northern Composure since its inception in various forms and are very excited to be invited back as a major sponsor after the Covid-forced hiatus last year and to be again offering the grand prize.
